
Reminder: The Macon County School System will be CLOSED this Monday, January 20th, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Students and staff will return on Tuesday, January 21st.


It was wonderful to see students today! School is on regular schedule for tomorrow, January 17th. Buses will not run on icy roads. Our bus riders will unload at the front of the school again tomorrow morning. Have a good evening.

On Thursday, January 16th we will have a 2-hour delay. Doors will open at 9:30 for students. Due to ice, buses will unload students on the front drive near the office entrance. Car riders will enter at the gym as normal . Walkers will need to go to the bus line in the front of the school. We will see you tomorrow!

Due to continued icy conditions on many secondary roads and freezing temperatures expected again tonight and tomorrow morning, we will have a Remote Learning Day on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

Due to snow and ice students will have a remote learning day on Monday, January 13th. Teachers will communicate in Rooms messaging about remote learning assignments. You can also send questions you may have to teachers using Rooms. Stay safe and share some pictures with us of students having fun in the snow!



Due to the forecast of heavy snow, ice, and dangerous road conditions in our area and with our region under a winter storm warning, Macon County Schools-Franklin area will be closed on Friday, January 10, 2025. Tonight's holiday music program and family activities were wonderful! We are proud of our students and appreciative of the many families who came to the event.

Starting at 5:30 on December 12th we will have a no cost family night event. The event will include a holiday song performance, picture opportunities, STEM activities, and pizza. It will be great fun for students and families! Dress up days are next week. To show holiday spirit wear Grinch clothes or green Monday.



Santa Shop will be open tomorrow for students that missed the opportunity to go when their class was signed up. They must have their Santa Shop envelope.
