This is Gloria Painter, the Assistant Principal at Iotla Valley Elementary. I am calling with some important announcements.
We, the staff at Iotla Valley Elementary, are very excited to welcome our students back to campus. We can't wait to see all of you!
Open House will be from 3:00 to 6:30 this Thursday, August 21st. There are many opportunities to prepare for the new school year. Come meet the teacher, get bus information, and pick up car rider passes. Parents will have the chance to speak with our school nurse and after-school site director. We can also assist with the Macon County School app for parent and teacher communication and with Infinite Campus log-ins.
Our PTO has all the information about this year's events and opportunities for parents to get involved and support our school.
Our 25-26 IVE T-shirts and hats will be available to pre-order and purchase. Smencils will be on sale.
When you are finished inside with your student, with all the excitement for this school year, KONA Ice and Chick-fil-A will be available for purchase outside.
The first day of school is Monday, August 25th.
Pre-K and Kindergarten boys will attend all day on Monday, and Kindergarten girls will attend all day on Tuesday. The regular schedule for Kindergarten and Pre-K will start on Wednesday.
We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday for Open House.

Buenas tardes, familias del Valle de Iotla. Espero que estén disfrutando del verano. Les informo que este año la lista de clases no se publicará en la puerta principal de nuestra escuela. Esto garantiza la confidencialidad de la información estudiantil. Los padres y tutores pueden averiguar quién será el maestro de su hijo/a iniciando sesión en Infinite Campus, la cuenta utilizada para la inscripción escolar de este año, donde se pueden acceder y actualizar las calificaciones, la asistencia y la información personal. Si no han inscrito a su hijo/a para el próximo ciclo escolar, no podrán acceder al maestro/a asignado hasta la jornada de puertas abiertas del 21 de agosto. Si tienen alguna pregunta sobre la inscripción de su hijo/a para este ciclo escolar, no duden en contactarnos los miércoles y jueves, cuando nuestro/a Administrador/a de Datos esté disponible. Last Day Announcement
Good evening, Iotla Valley Families. Tomorrow is the last day of school, and it is a half day. Car dismissal will begin at 11:15, and buses will leave school at approximately 11:40.
There will be no after-school edventure program tomorrow.
We are incredibly proud of the accomplishments our students have achieved this year. Please continue to engage in reading activities throughout the summer. We look forward to seeing everyone in August. Have a fantastic summer.
