This January, we said goodbye to Mr. Ryan Haley, a long-time history teacher at Franklin High School. Mr. Haley made a meaningful impact on countless students through his dedication to teaching. We appreciate his years of service to FHS and wish him all the best in his next chapter and retirement.

While we say goodbye to Mr. Haley, we are excited to welcome a familiar—but new—face to our staff. Ms. Brooklyn Rogers will be joining Franklin High School after beginning her teaching career at Tuscola High School. Ms. Rogers is a proud FHS alumna and a dedicated educator.

A message from Ms. Rogers:

Hello everyone! I am excited to be here. I graduated from FHS in 2019, so this truly feels like a full-circle moment for me. I attended Western Carolina University and completed my bachelor’s degree in 2023. Since then, I have been working toward my master’s degree in history while serving as a teaching assistant at WCU. I recently completed my first semester of teaching at Tuscola High School and am excited for the opportunity to return to FHS as a member of the faculty. I look forward to getting to know everyone!
