There will be a brief PTO meeting this Thursday, May 15th at 5:30 followed by a chorus concert, performed by our 3rd and 4th grade Panther Singers. Thank you and have a great evening.
Tomorrow is the last day to turn in picture money for the individual spring pictures that were sent home. If you don't want to pay for them, send the pictures back to school. May 13th and May 14th are End of Grade tests for 3rd and 4th graders. Kids and teachers are still working hard each day so please have students at school and on time. Avoid early pickups if at all possible. We appreciate your support and the kindness you and your kids have shown to us during appreciation week.

S.O.A.R Birds of Prey program visited East Franklin School on Friday. It was a spectacular show! The students were thrilled to see the live birds as they learned about owls, red tail hawks, eagles, vultures, and falcons. A wonderful learning opportunity that was enjoyed by all!
EFS wants to give a huge shout out to Mrs. Parker for all she does for our staff and students. She goes above and beyond on a daily basis. She goes to every room to say good morning and always has a smile to lend a hand. She loves all our students and shows up daily in more ways that we can count. Thank you for always giving your best as an example to make us want to give our best. Your heart and love for EFS shines daily. We appreciate you and know how lucky we are to have you!!!!

There’s a new tree by the playground! Last Friday was Arbor (Tree) Day.

Students will return to school tomorrow, April 22nd. End of year benchmark assessments will begin on Tuesday. Good attendance is very important this time of year as well. Students will be assessed in reading and math over the next couple of weeks. Last year our students exceeded academic growth! We’re so excited to celebrate our students and their progress this school year as well. Let's cheer them on and encourage them to keep working hard!

Spring pictures will be this Tuesday, April 15th. This will be both class pictures and individual pictures. Information and order forms have been sent home. Class pictures must be prepaid and cost $10. You can order online or send exactly $10 in the envelopes provided by April 15th.
